War has come to the skies of Earth, as a single massive Borg cube has penetrated deep into the Federation’s defences. Starfleet valiantly tries to hold the line but is forced back again and again. The USS Defiant proves her worth, surviving the entire battle and inflicting considerable damage on the Borg vessel. Here we see her running in close for a strafing run, blasting away with her phaser cannons. Off to the left however, an Akira-class heavy cruiser has not been so fortunate, as she is consumed in a fiery explosion.
