We’re back to sci-fi starships with this glorious image of the USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-D at warp speed, racing to some urgent crisis or desperate emergency. This massive vessel was built for exploration and houses over a thousand people with the finest equipment the Federation can provide. However, she is also a very capable warship, heavily armed with phasers and photon torpedoes. Whilst the Enterprise D herself was lost in battle over Veridian III, her sister ships of the Galaxy class would go on to perform admirably in the Dominion War. This is a truly amazing picture and makes a perfect wallpaper for any Trekkie.
